Hallandale Auto Flushes
An Engine, Transmission, Brake, Power Steering, or coolant flush is an aftermarket chemical additive designed to clean accumulated deposits, sludge and other gunk from your engine, Transmission, Brake, Power Steering or cooling system.
At Selective, We think and have proven over our over 40 years of experience that flushes enhance the operation of your vehicle. With modern times where manufactures recommend extended service intervals, more often than ever sludge and other contaminants form in different systems of your vehicle.
Engine oil forms sludge as a result of very short trips where the oil does not get hot enough to disperse the condensation in the engine.
Brake fluid absorbs water and becomes contaminated to the point that the boiling point is lowered thus causing brake fade and premature wear of your ABS Control unit, brake calipers and Master cylinder.
Coolant can become more acidic over time and lose its rust-inhibiting properties, causing corrosion. Corrosion can damage the radiator, water pump, thermostat, radiator cap, hoses and other parts of the cooling system, as well as to the vehicle's heater system. Which can cause a car engine to overheat.
The primary cause of power-steering failures is steering-fluid contamination. Like every moving component there is friction, where there is friction there is wear. Over time Power Steering fluid become contaminated to the extent you may sometimes see the metal particles floating in the reservoir. A flush is going to replenish the lubricating properties of the fluid thus extending the life of the pump, hoses and steering gear.
The importance of a transmission flush often goes unnoticed until serious problems arise. It is a process that is important to the health and maintenance of your car, and if done properly, is an excellent preventative maintenance procedure. It will extend the life of your transmission.
